Operating principles

The yellow side area indicates the liquid entering the casing inlet, the area between the rotor teeth and the corresponding concave area between the teeth of the intermediate gear. The two black arrows indicate pump rotation and liquid feed.

Note the advance of the liquid through the pump and between the teeth of the intermediate rotor gear. Also, note how the crescent shape in the body divides the liquid and acts as a seal between the suction and discharge chambers.

This illustration shows the pump almost flooded, just before the liquid is propelled into the discharge zone. Note how the design of the idler gears and rotor forms sealed cavities for the liquid, ensuring absolute volume control.

The image shows the pump fully flooded, discharging liquid through the discharge port. The rotor and idler teeth engage, forming an equidistant seal between the two ports and ejecting the liquid through the discharge port.
