Applications
Pumping of oil at constant flow in lubrication systems and circulation of cooling fluids.
Controlled transfer of chemical liquids (acids, bases, solvents).
Pumping of liquid fuels such as diesel, gasoline and biodiesel.
Transfer of resins, solvents and pigments.
Conveying of mineral oils or high viscosity liquids.
Dosing of cosmetic products such as creams and lotions.

The picture shows the liquid filling the suction port and the spaces between the gear teeth. The black arrows indicate the direction of rotation and fluid feed.
As shown, liquid transfer is accomplished by the housing and the gears inside the housing. The liquid does not pass between the gears.
This picture shows the situation inside the liquid filling pump, just before it passes into the discharge area. Note how the drive and driven gears ensure volume control and an enclosed area for the liquid.
The image shows the process of discharging and advancing the liquid. The pressure generated by the gear drives the liquid to the outlet port.
