With more than 20 years of experience with installations in the food industry and using scraped surface exchangers, since 3 years ago, the Portuguese company PERFINOX has started to manufacture the PERFITHERM, a vertical scraped surface exchanger. With important advantages:
- Small footprint, from 0,5 to 1,4 m2
- Exchange surface from 0.5 up to 7 m2
- Single or double mechanical seal.
- Vertical assembly. We eliminated the hydraulic system for the change of seals and scrapers.
- Low speed rotation, so as not to damage the product structure
- Particles up to 25 mm
- Heating (hot water or steam) or cooling (cold water or glycol), optional cooling with Ammonia
- Double exchange sleeves, internal and external, improve the performance of any traditional horizontally mounted exchanger
