Vaughan<\/strong> is a company with a long history of innovation and quality<\/a>. It all started when Jim Vaughan<\/strong>, the company’s founder, invented the world’s first grinder pump<\/strong> in 1960.<\/p>\n

The business began in Jim Vaughan’s small garage in Elma, Washington State. Jim was repairing slurry pumps for local dairymen as they were experiencing constant maintenance problems caused by straw and fibers. After many wasted hours repairing pumps, Jim developed a unique design<\/strong> that effectively became the original grinder pump. Immediately, Jim realized he had invented something worthy of a patent<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Vaughan currently holds several patents on both pump design and Rotamix nozzles, which are an important part of its success and confirm the constant research on how to improve the pump and reduce clogging.<\/p>\n

Its main market continues to be the American market, but these last 8 – 10 years have grown in Europe and South and Central America, with new distributors and confirming the growth of its most loyal distributors. The internationalization of the company has helped to grow and reach different markets that had not been considered before, from wastewater to multiple industrial processes, also new products have been designed and some equipment has been modified to make them more competitive and reliable… RAIMABER has been a Vaughan distributor since 2002.<\/strong><\/p>\n
